Swiftek MC370-OA

Next I took a look at a new heatsink from Swiftek.To be honest i had never heard of them until someone in our forums started bashing some of us for our Alpha loving blindness figured I would give them a shot.Well as much as I hate to say it he was right.The MC370 was a top of the line heatsink.

First thing that stood out was their clip design.As you can see in the pictures they are spring loaded.You loosen the screw till the full pressure of the spring is on the clip.Just about fool proof.Also again very high quality machine work.No blood letting burrs and a clean and smooth contact surface.Now lets see how they cool.Here are some screen shots at full load and Idle.

As you can see they are right on parr with the Alphas.The clip is really what got me on these HS.No taking out the heavy duty vice grips to install these.Simply a small screw driver and your all set.Originally the Swiftek comes with a Pabst fan I chose to replace them with Delta 7200RPM fans just because I love that high pitch whine;)

Overall I dont think you will find a better quality cooler than the Swiftek MC370-OA.However expect to pay for that quality.
