Conclusion

Well i would be hard pressed to not recommend any of the HSs reviewed. They all cooled down the CPUs extremely well.I did point out a few short comings. The only thing I could see as a determining factor between them is price. Why pay the big $$$ when you can get a HS that cools just as well and have some beer errrrrrr milk money left over?

Now for my personal choice

The Swiftek MC370-0A Simply because of that damn nifty clip.Tho if your main objective is the best bang for your buck.Id have say grab an Alpha

One thing that is lacking in the HS industry is innovation. We have seen a few outstanding changes but nothing to write home about. The introduction of copper inserts like in the Alpha. All copper heatsinks like the CAK and Hedghog. But how far have these actually brought us? How much further will they go before being old news?Well thats up to everyone to decide for themselves.Personally I think it would take a major change to really catch my eye now.Yes many are coming out with oh so pretty fan like designs and dual fans and etc..........Make my life easier or knock more than 3-4 degrees off the competition.Plain and simple I want results not aesthetics.

All 3 of these HSs proved to be great coolers. Now how about the new Thermalright SK6?With any luck Ill be able to show you in a couple weeks.Should you have any major complaints about this review or be just emotionally scarred for life feel free to praise, threaten, or just tell me how much I suck E-mail

UPDATE I added temps from an OEM HS and a set of Golden Orbs for comparison

And now some picks of the test machine
